About the bakery

Jess Desserts started as a home bakery in Urbandale, founded in October 2018. Currently, the business operates out of the Kitchen at The Hall in West Des Moines. Every item is carefully crafted with quality ingredients, so you can feel good knowing where and who your food comes from.

About Jessica

Jess Desserts is a one woman show at this point. This has been my dream since I can remember, and I am so excited to share it with you. I have always had a passion for cooking, and have always been interested in how ingredients work together. I loved watching my parents, grandparents, and brothers in the kitchen and seeing what they would come up with next. I graduated from Iowa State University in May of 2018 with a degree in Culinary Food Science. My goal is to use that knowledge to develop new and interesting recipes for Jess Desserts.
